For some reason, lawyers who have one of the MOST DEMANDING careers feel like they should be able to handle it alone. But, there is something wrong with that thinking.

Interestingly, many lawyers will boast about taking a course in rainmaking. However, these same individuals notice that even though they got great tips about how to bring in business, nothing really changes. After the initial excitement for a few days or even a week, these lawyers don’t execute a plan.

Why? Because most lawyers basically have all of the knowledge they need. However, it is their internal mindset and blocks that keep them from growing their practice.

BENEFITS OF SEEKING HELP

Not seeking help would be like a star professional player saying they will become a phenomenal professional at the top of their game without a coach or support.

Check out any sport, golf, football, baseball, soccer, tennis. All of the top players spend a tremendous amount of time and money to make sure they perform at the top of their game.

Law school, law firms, and other employers of lawyers are beginning to encourage and support their professionals to seek help for mental health issues. Just like we would encourage individuals who need help with their physical health issues.

Fearing the stigma associated with seeking out counseling, coaching, or other assistance is old-fashioned. It is time to get over it.

If you’re experiencing anxiety, stress, disorganization, addictions, or depression, the sooner you recognize the problem and take steps to address these issues, the easier it will be to overcome them!

Many have asked, “Pamela, how do you help your clients?

As I have said, I have helped my clients for over 25 years. Here is a small sample of individuals I have helped.

THESE TOP LAWYERS TOOK ACTION TO WIN

I am taking this opportunity to celebrate these powerful and brave lawyers.

🎉A partner at an AM100 law firm was deeply depressed. He said, “Pamela, I have anything anyone could want, but it all feels meaningless. My depression is dark and deep. I feel hopeless.” Our work together gave him a new lease on a life full of joy and enthusiasm.

🎉A litigation partner at a law firm had stacks of files all over his office. He felt like he had his unique filing system, and he knew how to find cases in a pile on his desk. Our work together resulted in his being organized, relaxed and his stress melted away.

🎉A lawyer started his own firm but couldn’t get started. He is now more productive than ever and has even had to hire support staff.

🎉A lawyer practicing law for 20+ years cannot bring in new clients. Their practice increased by 43%.

🎉A lawyer wanted to change practice areas. Through strategy, I helped them bring in a multi-million dollar client.

🎉A lawyer I had initially helped to open their firm hired me again to help them scale because of the new business coming in so quickly.

🎉I helped a lawyer who was too loyal to lackadaisical employees not doing their jobs. I helped them to interview, replace and train new staff and increase his income.

🎉I helped a depressed-despondent lawyer unable to handle their caseload find peace, become productive and grow his practice.

🎉I helped an alcoholic lawyer stop drinking, become productive, and while his income is increasing, he got his family back.

🎉I helped a suicidal lawyer when her marriage fell apart to get back on track. She is now stable, productive, and making more money than ever.

🎉I helped a lawyer suffering from daily panic attacks become productive, calm & make more money.

🎉I helped a lawyer with ADHD organize their practice to become productive and profitable.

🎉I helped a lawyer who suffered abuse and abandonment in many horrible relationships build her value and self-esteem to find her husband, who adored and valued her.

I celebrate each one of the Powerful, Decisive, Couragous and Successful lawyers because they were committed to win more than let their ego or fear stop them from seeking help. Their decisive action has reaped them many rewards that will continue for many years to come!

Asking for help will give you a new lease on life and help move your law practice to the next level.
